I find Portrait Painting to be the most enjoyable and rewarding experience of all the Artwork I do.  Painting the human face in all its details, somehow makes me feel that I am spiritually connecting with the subject and I don't feel time passing by,  in spite of the many hours it takes to complete a piece.   

This creative process is also  a challenging vehicle for me to learn self discipline and patience.
